Group Therapy
You sit in a room with people who get it. That is group therapy at Dillard Recovery. It runs through most treatment plans here, giving you a place to practice honesty, hear other perspectives, and build the kind of support that lasts past your last session.
How Group Therapy Works in Treatment
You sit in a room with six to ten other people working on recovery. A licensed clinician leads the session. You talk about what triggered a craving, how your week went, or what you're afraid to say out loud. Others share too. You practice being honest and hearing feedback without shutting down.
Group work helps with isolation, shame, and the belief that no one gets it. You learn skills for handling stress and relationships.
Your clinician folds group into your full plan. As you progress, they adjust what you focus on.
